Movember

Something that differs from No Shave November is a charitable organization known as Movember.

However, contrary to that of No Shave November, according to public relations person Abbie Rumery, the confusion between the two runs rampant, and that Movember is only about the mustache, rather than beards and goatees.

According to College/University Engagement manager Doug Prusoff, this is because contrary to beards and goatees, the mustache triggers more conversation, leading to more opportunities to talk about men's health and Movember.

Also, according to the Movember website, the organization has grown significantly over the years since its inception in 2003, going from just 30 participants and no funds raised to 1.1 million participants world wide and $147 million raised.

No Shave November

As the month of November has officially arrived, several students across the campus of Michigan State University will be participating in an act known as No Shave November.

There are a variety of reasons for why kids participate, but most of them boil down to just having a little bit of fun.

“I do it because it’s a challenge,” junior MSU student Trent Johnson said. “I do it with my friends to see who can grow the best and grossest beard by the end of the month.”

So while the month of November wears on, several students across campus will likely be sporting grosser and grosser beards and mustaches when they go home for Thanksgiving break.

Lambert receives his combo

On Tuesday night, Benjamin Lambert took a break from studying Bio-Chem to go get his combo exchange.

In a journey that took him from fantasy football trash talk in the commons of his residence hall, all the way to compliments from girls on his shoes, Lambert finally made it to Sparty's to receive his combo exchange.

And when he got there, Lambert decided to go with Riceroni, a Nature Valley Almond Bar, and lemonade.

However, much to Lambert's disappointment, due to the fact that the manager was in, he could not get any peach syrup added to his lemonade.

"I'm super f*****g pissed off," Lambert said when he got back to his dorm room on the night.

Lambert will make his next combo tomorrow night around the same time.

Lambert's set to get his combo exchange

Tonight, Benjamin Lambert, travel coordinator of the MSU Running Club, will make his illustrious journey to Brody to receive his combo exchange, just like he does every night.

As of late, Lambert has been getting Pop Tarts with almost every combo. However, according to Lambert, he's looking to shake things up tonight and maybe go with something a little different.

"I'm probably gonna go with mac and cheese," Lambert said.

As for when Lambert will go and get his combo exchange, it's likely going to be a break from studying for Bio-Chem.

However, it can be confirmed that he will begin his trek before midnight, for that is when his window for opportunity to combo will close.
